This baby shower cake was inspired by the toy blocks that were displayed on the table with it. Chocolate, vanilla, and carrot cakes were covered with bright colored icing and set atop a matching sugar blanket.

Since I started decorating cakes I find myself viewing everyday objects in a different light and asking the question, "How can I make that out of cake and icing?". After countless grueling hours of sculpting I love to hear the words "That's a cake?!"...motivation to bake on!
